I would like to extend an invitation to all parents and carers to join us on Tuesday evening as it is always very informative event and provides guidance and assistance at this significant stage in the young person’s academic career.

The purpose of our evening is to share information about National qualifications with S4 parents & carers.  The evening will start with a welcome and introduction in The Street at 5.00 pm sharp. Thereafter, parents/carers will have an opportunity to attend briefing sessions in respect of English, Maths & Science subjects.  Our S4 parents & carers are invited to attend the UCAS information which starts at 7.00 pm.

Please contact Mrs Creaney, DHT S3/4, via email if you have any questions you wish us to address during the course of the evening:

UCAS INFORMATION EVENING (7.00 pm – 8.00 pm)

The UCAS Information Evening will consist of a presentation from David Wilson, DHT S5/6, Sally Nicholson, Recruitment Manager, from Strathclyde University, and Grant McGregor, acting PT Pupil Support.

The school’s internal procedures for managing the application process will be explained therefore all pupils considering applying for a place on any university course beginning September 2015 should attend this evening.
